& the Auxiliary Ukulele Orchestra of Columbia
Saturday, June 12, 2010
Blue Shoes are a delightful amalgam of Vaudeville, Tin Pan Alley, ragtime and blues. A rich, sexy, playful voice and wicked harmonica. They are not there just to show off their clever and engaging original lyrics, but to entertain as well. Peg's got the blue shoes and the dapper dude, dressed right out of a turn-of-the-century barrel house, provide sartorial significance to a real good time.
Now They are joined by the Auxiliary Ukulele Orchestra of Columbia to add further dimension to your enjoyment.
